Im having problems with AlphaHQ for SMAC. I have Installed the game fresh, installed the update, cleared all my cache and memory, I have no problems with any other java applications, games, servers, or other multiplater game systems on my computer over the internet, yet somehow when I log onto AlphaHQ with the correct id and pass it wont display the (# of users logged on) script, and when i login to the HQ screen it goes to run the separate window applet for multiplayer chat/game setup, but then it freezes saying Please wait while it loads. I have gone through email support with the AlphaHQ ppl, but honestly they have been no help and can barely understand what they are trying to tell me which is just basic stuff i always do. I need someone who really knows what they are talking about to help debug this problem which could be something real simple but no one seems to be able to help me.

well, first of all, what browser are you using? IE or netscape. I found my IE to have different problems which I couldn't solve, Netscape on the other hand had not problems

finally an honest response. They never mentioned 'any' problems with IE and I even asked specifically about that. Well that stinks...I guess i have to redownload netscape then
